review 1: I'm not sure how well or believably the series can continue but I enjoyed this. It had lots of humor, believable characters, and Paige's bumbling as she investigated was realistic and funny as heck. The killer was one of my suspects but Charbonneau had given us a good mix of suspects and red herrings so it wasn't obvious. Devlyn's secret was, to me anyway, and I am not a fan of love triangles but I'll definitely read more in the series.
review 2: Paige can't get a job in opera or musical theater, so she's reduced to teaching a high school choir class while living with her wealthy aunt. How hard can it be? Well, the choir members are uber-competitive, one of their chief competitors is murdered (and Paige finds the body!), and her boss seems to see her as a pos... moresible murderer. Paige can return the compliment there, especially after she finds he's been dating the victim's ex-wife. Then there's the hunky cop who seems very much amused by her attempts at detection, and the handsome, gotta-be-gay colleague who is demonstrating a lot of affection for Paige. less
