review 1: I can honestly say I have never read anything like it. It is a short, fast-paced book that reads like a rollercoaster. I advise you pick it up without researching what it is about and let it surprise you, in order to walk away with the full experience. I was told by a friend that there was some lgbt themes present in the book, and while there was, I was totally unprepared for everything else that happened— I won't spoil it for you, though. All in all, it left me angry and a bit disturbed. Okay, a lot disturbed, but it was a good book! Has a lot of the same dark humor that fans of A Softer World might appreciate. I must also say that the title, in hindsight, is wildly (and comically) appropriate.
review 2: This is...a book. As a fan of "A Softer World" and aft
... moreer having read "Overqualified", I was curious and even excited to see what this book had in store. I was delighted; it isn't long (I read it in about two hours) or terribly intricate, but its interesting tone and the attitude of the characters in the story is a curious amalgam of horror, humor, and even satire. It's like a "Goosebumps" story for adults. Great stuff! less

by far one of the most unsettling books i've ever read- and i mean that in the best way.
