review 1: I started to this book with high expectations but finished with dissapointment. I really liked the way of story telling, especially the "we" part. Although it was boring as it was interesting. It was catching me at some point, I was finally content with how the story goes but then suddenly, all the grip got lost and it happened like this all the time during the story. I hardly reached to the end. It left this sad feeling of ending a story but also I closed the book cover gladly. I'm so in between the opposite feelings. Still, feeling more negative.
review 2: Despite being a grim read, I still enjoyed this book. The writing style, and specifically the unfinished sentences at first was a little puzzling and distracting, though as the book went on and I became use
... mored to them, I kind of liked it and it pushed my mind to finish the sentences myself, questioning how I believed the event unfolded. An interesting book, and, if I had ever entertained the prospect of becoming a heroin addict (not that I had) I think this book would certainly make me think twice. Actually, it would only make me think once, there is no way I could endure this sort of lifestyle, if you could call it that. less
