review 1: as a Joe Ledger fan, I enjoyed reading this book.The book did a good job filling in some gaps between books. Some of the short stories I thought were interesting but nothing to merit, more "Fluff" then anything. Others stories had me wide-eyed, wanting more.If you've read the entire series (more so the later ones) and noticed references to past operations, some of those operations are in this book.Is this a book for general readers? No, honestly my world would continue turning without complaint if I never read it.is this a book for die hard Joe Ledger fans? Yes, some of the stories filled in questions I had about the series.
review 2: My teenage son, who is a big fan of the Joe Ledger series (and dystopian action fiction in general) actually read this giveaway ... morebook, not me. He reports it was good, and a must read for fans of the series. He was happy to have the stories collected in one place, he couldn't have found them otherwise. He says the series is great, well written, interesting, and a realistic depiction of how bioterrorism could happen. Highly recommended for other fans of World War Z and Ender's Game. less
