review 1: There are several things that I enjoyed about this book. First, there was no excessive language, or language for that matter. Second, no excessive sex scenes, and finally, I loved Leo and his commentary all throughout the book. Even though the love story is about Maddie and Leo's brother Luke, I love his pov that pops up throughout. Despite his condition, he has a great outlook on life and I love his sense of humor and his way of thinking. I know that there are people who love to have order in their lives but Maddie seems to take it to the extreme. I understand that she is trying to guard her heart but you can't control everything and you can't keep running away from things you can't control. I'm glad that even though Luke does love her, he is not willing to give up his li... morefe for her because he knew where he really did belong. It just took Maddie awhile to realize where it is that she also belongs, despite not being able to control the things around her.
review 2: This book kept me sane while my husband had life saving neck surgery. Even though I knew from the beginning that it would turn out just the way I expected, it was fun following the path to the happy ending! it was especially neat that it was set in a fictional town near Silverton in the San Juan Mountains in Southwestern Colorado, where I live half the year. I was going to get the next one in the planned trilogy of Homecoming Ranch stories (I imagine the other two will be about the other two sisters), but it's not coming out till next July! less
