review 1: the prequel had me so excited to read this book. However, when I finally read it I was disappointed. The storyline was flat. the characters lacked the depth I love. it was as if they were trapped in a "sex with the boss" box and could not get out.The love scenes were passionate and real... convincing. I almost gave a 4th star just for the sex.I think the rest of the series should be better.
review 2: 3,5 stars but so far I liked it. The forbidden love between the nanny and her boss is quite interesting to read. Even though this book isn't as good as Karen Erickson's previous book that I have read, I enjoyed it. I'm confused by Matteo's behavior. I mean, for a moment he craved for Paige's body and heart and soul but then in a blink of an eye he resisted her. Re... morejected her. But when he found out that she determined to left, he refused and forced her to stay. I mean, make up your freaking mind, dude! But overall I enjoyed it and look forward to read the next boo. less
