review 1: Since Hannah opened her dress shop, it's obvious J.T. doesn't like her...at first. The reason behind that is explained so in a way, its understandable. Hannah isn't sure about the guy either. Although they surprise each other by what they assumed the other to be only to be just the opposite. If that makes sense. Anyway, there were some cute moments between J.T. and Hannah that I couldn't help but smile, even laugh at times. While I liked the author's book Head in the Clouds, I enjoyed reading this one a bit more. You know you read a good book when you get to the last page and you don't want the story to end yet.
review 2: (*SPOILER ALERT!!!*)NO FAIR!!! No one got hurt!! Well, I guess they sort of did. But not enough. Hannah just barely got a little scratch on h... moreer face. And Jericho did all the beating-up. He's the one that's supposed to get beat up. And Warren didn't make a very good bad guy either, he's more like a jealous schoolboy. I guess the lack of action is eased by all the arguing between Hannah and Jericho (J.T.). I did like that. (I enjoy controversy. Can't have a good book without it.)Why in the world does Jericho not like his name?!?! I can see how he doesn't like it 'cuz his idiot mom gave it to him and 'cuz it represents a Canaanite city that fell at the hand of a band of pedestrians. But seriously. Jericho is a beautiful name. It's one of my favorites.Other than the 'lack of action', the book was great: well written, clean, funny, romantic, and intriguing. less
