review 1: Haven't received my copy yet, just received notice I had won. 8/27/13Still haven't received my copy. Hopefully it has just been delayed. 12/3/13Received my copy and hope to start soon. Have 11 others plus my current read in front. 12/11/13Started 1/5/14Finished 1/6/14Cece is a former nun, sort of. She has left the order right before taking her final ordinances. As she goes to retrieve the priests bible after confessional, she accidently hears a confession of the senator, who soon ends up dead. Detective Jackson can't believe Cece won't tell him what the senator confessed and he is less than thrilled when he is assigned to protect the ex-nun. When Cece starts to try to solve the case herself, it puts her life and Detective Jackson's in peril.Okay, not really sure about the ... morewhole nun thing. I am not Catholic but the fact that Cece wasn't "pure" before entering the nunnery somehow doesn't ring true to me. Other than that, this was a like a typical romance story, with a little murder/mystery thrown in.
review 2: This is another one of my Kindle Serials. I have read episode one. So far......At first my thoughts were, oh no, what did I get myself into? Not sure I think her reason for leaving the church was a good one. Kind of silly honestly. Her way of telling the priest she was leaving wasn't too classy either. But as I read, I started getting more into the story. Can't tell too very much about it from reading only 1 episode so I wont go into much more about it. Episode 2 is waiting on my Kindle. Will get to it soon. Not going to give it a rating yet.I decided to give up the ghost on this one. Too fluffy and silly for me. Just not my cup of tea. less
