review 1: I absolutely loved this book. I have really loved Hollis through all of these books, and was glad to see a HEA for her---unless that means that she will disappear from the books. By far, I think she is one of my favorite returning characters in the entire series. My only hope is that Ms Hooper will do one great book series soon that will bring back some of the great couples we meet in the books!
review 2: If you have read the other 14 Bishop books, don't waste your time or money with this one. A lot of Haunted is retelling events from previous books. The most intriguing character is Braden, the dog. There's no character development, no chemistry between characters, no "wow" moments. The whole story seems to be a build up to some huge event that's going to ... moretake place to stop the killings, so I expected the ending to be great. Not the case... The ending felt rushed and abrupt. It's almost as if the author realized it would be a great idea to write the next book focused around the dog (which is a good idea) and decided to hurry up and end this to get started on that. I love Kay Hooper and the Bishop books, but this is by far the worst book in the series, in my opinion. less
