review 1: Really enjoying this series. The characters are delightful and the illustrations are fantastic!I noticed a lot of similarities between Howl's Moving Castle series (Books by Diana Wynne Jones, Anime adapted by Hayao Miyazaki) like a moving castle and a castle in the sky/air.At first I was kind of annoyed by this because I hold both in such high regard and am such a HUGE fan. But at the back of the book Kazu mentions it as being an inspiration and I can accept that. He acknowledged them.A lot of the action sequences are full page and have little dialog so these books are pretty quick reads. I'm looking forward to the next one that is waiting for me on my desk!
review 2: Squee this is such a cute series. I love the action and fighting with the stonekeeper stone. E
... moremily is getting better with her defensive and offensive power. We meet some new characters in this story. Captain Enzo and Rico. There is a flying city. Wyverns are on the attack. Cool funnel clouds that they have to fly around. The Elf king may not be who he seems. I can't wait to see the training school in book 4. less
