review 1: Darkest Powers Bonus Pack 2. Facing Facts and Belonging.Seriously though, I can't get enough of these books. I think I'm going crazy. I wanna read mooooore!Facing Facts.I didn't really expect it to be that short. When I saw it was done, I was like, okay. That was too short, but it is a short story anyways, sooooo..lThen for Belonging,I realized I've read this already before. But it's still as easy to read and as interesting as it is when I read it years ago.I loved both of the stories obviously, haha.
review 2: I really liked this little set. Belonging answers a question most of the readers had about Derek's biological family and what would happen if he was exposed to them. I really enjoyed the little bits of Chloe/Derek we see as they develop their relationshi... morep and it was saddening to see Derek so completely close the door on his chance to connect with his werewolf family. His motivations are understandable but it's still a little sad; I also can't help but wonder what would happen when/if the Pack finds out about him.In Facing Facts we get to see how Tori is dealing with news about her parents. What I love about Tori is that the author never bends into the temptation but making her more likable by shifting her personality. She's a little nasty, a lot impulsive and emotional but she really grows on you. Chloe and Derek try to help her deal with the emotional drama and Chloe ends up approached by a woman she had a part in killing. The story was also a lot about Chloe's coming to terms with her decision to take a life and whether it was the right/only choice she could've made.Armstrong's teenagers are wonderful. All are believable as teens but also are mature and self aware enough to interest an older reader less
