review 1: I feel like a lot of comics just rush right into introducing as many characters as possible as quickly as possible and that can get a little frustrating. Still, this story is cool if you're into spooky ladies seeking revenge and dead things telling stories. A spooky fantastical western where deaths time is almost up and he has a human daughter who likes to kill. I blew through the first five books and really want to continue it.
review 2: Pretty Deadly #1 is about the daughter of Death, Ginny. This time instead of delivering Death, Ginny is protecting a child that Death wants dead. Ginny is not someone who will be blackmailed even though Death is holding her human mother prisoner in Hell.Pretty Deadly is the origin of Ginny. Ginny is the product of two mort
... moreal parents. Her father was scared of losing his wife and lost her in the tower. Her mother knew she will died if she was not free from the tower. When she was dying, Death came and claimed her and her daughter. Ginny was raised by Death. There seemed to be more to the story than meets the eye. Even as I read Pretty Deadly, it didn't really capture my attention. It is a good start to the series but I need a little bit more to want to follow this series.I was given this book by the publisher through Net Gallery for an honest review. All opinions are my own and I was not compensated for this review. less

It's too short for a proper review. All I know is that I want MORE!
