review 1: after reading anna dressed in blood i really wanna read the sequel so bad, turns out it wasn't as good as the first book but i really enjoyed reading it. i don't know how to react about the ending, some things are just impossible to have happy endings and seriously anna is basically dead but at least everything was settled and the way was cleared in the end. but overall, i loved the series. one of my recent faves. kendare blake did an amazing job. lovelove anna & cas. x
review 2: 3.5 Stars This book fell victim to the 'sequel can never be good as its predecessor' which is not to say the book was bad. It was interesting with enough sense of horror and action. But it couldn't grasp my interest like Anna Dressed in Blood did. The sassy Cassio wasn't sassy anymore,... more Carmel became irritating but thankfully Thomas remained the same. Yet, the story dragged a little and the ending left a lot to be desired. I can only hope the author chooses to revisit this world to tie up the ends :) less
