review 1: oh rage oh désespoir !!!! J'ai peur de ce que Keri Arthur nous prépare pour la suite !! :(Un tome magnifique et très prenant à la fin ..Une enquête pour le compte personnelle de Hunter, qui se montre sous son vrai jour etune recherche des clé qui est du coup mis en suspens;La relation entre Azriel et Risa prend un nouveau tournant ....Mais alors cette fin ?!, Risa a peut être fait la plus grosse erreur de sa vie ....
review 2: Just finished reading Darkness Unmasked by Keri Arthur, the Dark Angels series; and have to say I L-O-V-E these books!!! This one is the 5th book in the series and has not let up from the 1st. For those of you who have not read this series, the stories are a continuation from the Riley Jenson, Guardian series but have moved on ... moreto the next generation with a half werewolf, half Aedh (aka dark angel) Risa Jones. As usual, it’s never a dull moment in Risa’s life. Hunter, her vampire council boss, has assigned her to find the murderer of her lover who we discover was killed by a shape shifting spider spirit who has the ability to change forms into seductive women to lure her victims into her ‘web.’ *shaking head* I don’t think I will ever be able to look at spiders the same way again. From betrayal, kidnapping, revenge and the ultimate outcome of fate’s decision we come to another exhilarating ending that leaves me panting for more. I can’t wait to read the next one in the series and would recommend this to those who appreciate paranormal suspense romance books by authors such as Kim Harrison, Diana Rowland, Rachel Vincent and the likes. less
