review 2: I skipped book two and it was still okay to read book 3 without any issues. I will going back to book 2 as soon as I get it from the library. This is a 3.5 star book. I really enjoyed it!This one brings an asshole back into Risa's life. Jak the jerk off reporter has the gall to still make passes at Risa. I want to slap him upside the head. I don't like him at all. The sexual tension between Azriel finally bursts open. It's much better than being with Lucien. Still, both males have stamina. This story is kind of a drag as Risa is pulled deeper into Hunter's web. It's not good. She is way in over her head. Plus the whole story on blood whores is repulsive. Sounds like there should be a spin off there too. When it comes to world building, Ms. Arthur never skimps. She adds all these facets I'd like to delve more deeply in. She tends to give us a taste, hook us in and then make us wait for resolution. Very frustrating!This story moved pretty fast and it makes me want to read the next book. Recommended for urban fantasy lovers who enjoy good plots and engaging characters. less
