review 1: Just when I started liking Riley I feel like she let me down. Great plot in this book, Riley on the hunt for a vamp killer. I'm happy with the ending, what happens to Kye is satisfying although the way Riley acts in reference to him during the whole book really irritated me. I love the new developments with Liander and Rhoan, hoping that works out for them. i didn't feel any sympathy or empathy for Riley this book, her actions didn't feel true to the character. I felt like Riley had become a stronger person and then just gave up during this book. still good world building and plot development and the ending was very satisfying. hoping to see a better Riley next book.
review 2: While I have in general enjoyed the series, I was really annoyed by the imag
... moree this particluar volume depicts on women. Somehow every second page seemed to be about the uncontrollable sex urges of Riley, and how she always gave in to her lust and did not remain faithful to her love. Apart from teh attitude, it made the book pretty boring eventhough the main(?) story line of killings was relateively ok. Now that the situation has calmed donw in her personal life I expect the next one be a bit more readbale. less

Riley struggles with her 2 souls. Her wolf sole belongs to Kye but her heart belongs to Quinn.
