review 1: Another steamy and exciting installment in the Riley Jenson guardian series. In Deadly Desire Riley is trying to stop two killers while dealing with the full moon and her newfound monogamy with Quinn. Working closely with Kade and bounty hunter/hit man Kye complicates her situation with the reaction they illicit from her wolf hormones. I feel like there's more realism in the latest books in the series. Kellen dumping Riley, Riley dumping Quinn and taking him back, Quinn's reaction to Riley's polyamory, and Riley's reactions to Kye and to the big surprise at the end of the book. Im excited to see how Riley deals with this new development and how she and Quinn cope.
review 2: I am in a love hate relationship with this series. The story line around the "sex" ... morepart is a very good storyline, as I have mentioned before I try to stay away from "erotic" material, its just not my cup of tea, but the story surrounding the "erotic sex" parts, is intriguing and I should say that the sex scene while graphic, are not raunchy, if it were I would be closing it for sure..now the first couple books in the series, the sex was more rape, but that is my opinion, you may see it differently. In this book Riley again has two cases, but soon realizes that they are connected, so she has to go undercover as a stripper...not in love with that, but it works somehow for this series. She finally finds her "soul mate" and I actually wanted to throw the rest of this series in the garbage..I do not agree with who becomes her soul mate...to be honest, this might be the last book for me, going to give the next one a fair chance, but right now, I have to admit that this book kinda killed my desire to read anymore of this series. less
