review 1: When you're given the job of playing with people lives, a whole species, you want to make the right decisions. When those rules have to bend to make others comfortable, just to stay alive, you learn a thing or two. Then of all things you meet this women who is smart and very observant. How can he do his job and keep others safe when she only truly has one goal, saving her mother. One problem, this women is no ordinary women and she can destroy them all with one word. Can the two of them butt heads and passionately keep to their goals without some trust? Can both of them save the ones they protect without hurting others?I always love a great story especially when it can make me laugh with the antics of love, trust and acceptance. Fantastic story, great read and all these b... moreooks are highly recommended
review 2: Well - I listened to this on audio file. Maybe it would have been better if I had read the book, but I thought the narrator made it sound really cheesy with all the different voices. It just didn't do it justice. Some audio books bring things to life and others fail horribly. This would be a failure in my opinion. I think this is the first Kerreyln Sparks books I've read though, so I'll most definitely have to go back to previous books in this series since it's book #11 I think. less
