review 1: This book started out hot from the beginning. Family can be your own worse enemy. Paige's hatred for her sister Camille causes her to do the ultimate betrayal amongst family members. At first I thought that her mom was so cruel towards Paige but I believe that she, Maxine (their mom) should have given her up for adoption because she couldn't love her like a mother should. A plot of rape and then a plot to have Camille caught by her husband in bed with another man was the ultimate drama. However a lot of this drama could have been avoided if Camille hadn't been so naive. I have mixed signals on this one. Paige got one if her best friends to participate......oh my goodness! You just have to read it for yourself.
review 2: I must say that I enjoyed this book.
... moreI was glad of how unexpected it was. A very quick read. Camille is the pretty, smart, good hearted sister with the wonderful husband and two good kids. She's a housewife participating in a number of volunteer work who is adored by her mother and father. Paige is also pretty and smart but a great manipulator and schemer. She's not well liked by her mother but instead of messing her moms life up she sees her sister, Camille, as the enemy and starts to plot to take her husband and life. When secrets are kept from someone, and you're being treated like an outcast while growing up in your household, it leaves room for negativity in your adult and affects it. This book was a great example of this very issue. Keep it up Kim!! less
