review 1: I picked up this book, not remembering much about the previous one but I was glad to get back into this world. Luckily for me, things came back to me as I read it so I wasn’t as confused as I thought I would be. It was an action packed ride that kept me turning the pages. While I enjoyed this book a lot, I really did miss Smitty which we only get about halfway into the book. The interactions between him and the rest of the gang (especially Bobby) are just so good. I was happy to find Pete and Alice but never really got on board with Russ. I liked him but not as much as I love the others, which could only be because he’s the newbie but something just wasn’t right with him. And now, well, we know why. The humour was as good as it was in Undead (but I’m still missing ... moreSmitty’s contribution to the departement). Now I’m just wondering if we get a third book. I hope we do.
review 2: This was an Awesome follow up to Undead. I was glad to revisit the characters and see what was happening with them. This zombie world is infested with snarky comments, laugh out loud moments, and freak out surprises. It adds up to total fun and is unlike any other series of books. This would have been a 5 star, but I got a little bored toward the end and found my mind wandering. I certainly hope that McKay revisits this world. I need more Bobby and Smitty and zombie butt kicking, and of course the chance to laugh while reading it all! less

What fun, it's good to have the gang back together...will there be a third? I'm guessing yes.
