review 1: This book started and ended with a bang. Everything that was crazy in the first book got crazier in this installment. I had a hard time with Death and I thought he was a total douchbag at first but now I can't get enough from him. There's so many twists and turns that you don't know what's gonna happen next and there were so many feels that I could barely cope without almost throwing my precious book to the wall. I loved it.
review 2: Plenty of twists and turns in the second book of Arcana Chronicles. Evangeline Green is forcibly separated from her alliance, and seduces Death. Well, tries to anyway. Every time Evie is irrational and childish, there's a reminder that she is just 16 and grieving the death of her mother. I really like the players, although at one... more point I feel Jack is completely out of character. He's talking to Evie, and is speaking clearly, with no accent and is using perfect grammar. Nitpicking, I know! I really enjoyed this book, and hope that the ending scene is that Evie and Death finally have that wedding night he deserves less
