review 1: Probably my fav Kristen Ashley book so far. Most annoying thing was his nickname for her - 'buddy'. Seriously? Second most annoying is how the h will just repeat a persons name over and over and not say what she's supposed to be saying. For example 'Mike..' and he interrupts, then 'Mike..' and he speaks again, 'Mike..' and I'm thinking - spit it out already or just shut up! The daughters were unrealistic in my opinion but overall enjoyed the story.
review 2: Wow! I'm so in love with this series. At Peace was classic KA and another near perfect read. Joe was GORGEOUS and I loved Vi. I think I loved those two beautiful girls just as much. Yet again KA gives us a story where the two lead characters are surrounded by an extraordinary supporting cast who give so muc... moreh depth to the story. The town is full of good people who collectively add such a classic KA flavour. This was a great story and certainly a very emotional one. When Vi got the news of Sam I came very close to losing it in the waiting room I was reading it in. As Joe said they earned their happy ending at the end of two very sad journeys and that was a special thing to witness. Love it. less
