review 1: We meet Aiden or Ensign Lange in book one, when Eric goes to the hospital to take his statement after Glenn beats him up at the club. This is a sequel but could be read as a standalone. It takes place at the same time as book one. Aiden takes Eric's advice and goes to the falls so people will believe he fell and busted his face. When he gets to the top he is met by Connor, and the attraction is instant. They start dating, but what happens when Connor's dad, one of Aidens CO's catches them. Will they follow orders and stop seeing each other, or will Aiden risk his career for love. This book was better than the 1st book. The 1st book felt too much like a travel brochure of Okinawa. This one was more about the guys and their relationship. As always, L.A. Had no problem captu... morering the chemistry between her MC's. The attraction was palpable. It took them a while to finally have sex, but once they did it was electric. I loved the epilogue and getting to see Shane and Eric.
review 2: Young Military Love...or NotThis one is a follow-up of sorts to "Conduct Unbecoming" in that it takes place on Okinawa and involves a closeted young navy man (Ensign Aiden) and a closeted American civilian (Connor) living there because his father is in the Navy. They meet cute at a waterfall --Aiden is there because of something that happened in the first book, Connor is there because he likes bathing in the pool. They fall in lust and soon Connor is showing the recent Annapolis graduate all the sights and scenes of Okinawa--and all the sexual positions they can deal with, which they deal with very well, thank you very much.Complication pops up when it turns out that Connor's father is not only in the Navy, but also Aiden's commanding officer. This leads to an order to keep apart because of the potential for a conflict-of-interest that could come up if someone finds out the two young men are seeing each other which could be career-threatening for both men. It's a harsh and somewhat cruel reality that Aiden and Connor have to face, and so the plot twists and turns and tumbles along in a jumble of what-if's and no-ways. The situation also involves Eric and Shane from the previous book in more ways than you might expect--and from there you will have to find the spoilers yourself. Just wonderful every step of the way. less

Lacking in action and drama; too much smut and love declarations.
