review 1: More of an erotic short story, this one leads into the longer sequel, Infinity Pools. Elliot Chandler decides to go on his honeymoon alone when his boyfriend doesn't show up for their wedding. At the airport, he meets Derek Windsor, who is actually heading home to Maui. They have an instant friendship and sexual tension. Sparks fly when their flight is delayed until morning due to a heavy snowstorm. I enjoyed this one enough that I'm already well into the sequel in Hawaii.
review 2: Determined to get away from the fall out of being ditched at the altar. Elliott ends up stuck at the airport wondering what the hell he was thinking. But then he meets Derek, and all of his planning, lists and second guessing don't stop him from going with his gut (or lower) and ta... moreking the gorgeous man back to his hotel room. A short story that packs a punch, I loved every word of it - the witty one liners; the steamy sex; how L A Witt managed to cram so much story into a short was amazing. I love reading her stuff and this was no exception. I was very pleased to find the sequel on Amberquill and I can confirm that it is well worth the wait - an excellent story from start to finish. less
