review 1: I really enjoy steampunk, so was looking forward to reading Noble Metals and it did not disappoint me. Both of the main characters were interesting in their own right, but I really loved how their partnership/relationship developed. (Plus, their sexy scenes were sweet & hot.) The historical and steampunk elements, as well as the adventure, were great fun. And there was even a bit of angst. ... morers in Noble Metals won me over from the opening pages. The harsh Alaskan setting was described so vividly that it became a character as well. The interaction between John and Robert was a perfect combo of sweet and hot. Toward the end of the story, the social implications of being gay, as well as aspects of Robert's past, were dealt with in a fashion that I found very interesting. less
