review 1: Etant une fan de Laura Kasischke, j'espérais beaucoup de son dernier roman. Quelle déception ! L'histoire a dû mal à décoller (il faut attendre la page 171 puis se dire "ça y est, ça va enfin devenir intéressant"). Ensuite, il y a pas mal de chassés-croisés qui peinent à aboutir. Quand, finalement, on comprend l'ampleur du complot (quelques 200 pages avant la fin tout de même !), on attend d'avoir les explications. Eh bien, non rien. Un des protagonistes (le plus attachant) meurt (pourquoi, ça ne donne aucune valeur au récit) et la fin est totalement décousue et inintéressante. A part ça, les libraires n'ont pas tari en éloges. On ne doit pas vivre dans le même monde littéraire...
review 2: Nicole Werner is a beautiful young college student ... morewho is killed in a car accident with her boyfriend Craig. A year later Craig returns to college life and he and his friends try to rebuild their lives. But there are mysterious ghostly happenings and Craig thinks he's being haunted. I thought this was going to be a horror but it was more of a thriller. Loved it though but found the ending slightly disappointing. less
