review 1: So I definitely should have read the blurb more carefully, or just read the reviews. Twincest isn't my thing. However, that's my fault, so I'll try to set that aside (I may fail!)This was a fairly light read, despite the drama contained within the story. Once or twice I felt a twinge of empathy, but overall it was hard to get into the story. I did like the characters for the most part, but my knowledge and understanding of them seemed somewhat superficial. There was also a fair bit of insta-love and insta-decisions, which is generally not my particular favorite. Finally ( bringing twincest back in), the plot/occurrences within the story were somewhat dark at least requiring a greater depth, whereas the tone of the story seemed somewhat light. This may be because the things ... morethat occurred were either glossed over or easily resolved- I'm not certain why I felt there was a discord. Perhaps the key factor is that there was so much happening in a relatively short story. In short, this was not my cup of tea; however, there were some highlights/ redemptions. I may seek out another story from this author to determine whether my dislike was primarily due to the twincest.
review 2: Terry has been living as a straight man his entire life, but at his youngest brother Mischa’s bbq party he lays eyes on Dex and Trick, two male twins who are very close and very attractive. Mischa notices Terry’s interest in his two friends and with the help of one of his other brothers he sets up a Truth or Dare game at their weekly poker game. This makes Terry confess his secret desires, and after that he’s determined to find out if the twins are willing to have him…Twincest with a twist…the setup is ok, but the story itself is pretty rubbish. The conflict is so overdramatized and the plot nonexistent. Everyone loves each other from the moment they lay eyes on each other and once the drama is settled everything is hunky dory… no, this was not in my taste at all. All the things I liked in the previous novel in the series just didn’t exist in this one…however all the things I didn’t like were pretty similar here. Recipe for disaster. Maybe you will feel differently, but I didn’t like this at all. less

I find the whole "we aren't committing incest" defense bullshit ...
