review 1: This is my first time to read from this author and also my first to the type of writing. I am surprised about 3 stories in a book. I was thinking that maybe it was 3 short stories from different authors. I enjoyed every story, but it is still better if there is depth in each of the h/h involved. I felt that each story were rushed for their HEA. What captivated me, is how wity and funny each story is. I especially like the 3rd story. I may not like the heroine, because for me she is childish. I liked the hero thou. It may not be them that brought the story, but how funny it is.To top it, I liked how Ms. Michael made the ending. It made me smile. 4 stars and I can't wait to try again another of her books.
review 2: This book is actually 3 novellas, all tied aroun
... mored a house that keeps the "mistresses". I love series, but because the stories are so short there is not enough time for proper character development to either care for them or to believe the motives. I thought they were well-written -- though you could see the ending of the 3rd one a mile away -- but I finished not feeling very satisfied. I have read and will read again a Leigh Michaels book, but I will have to stick to the full novels. less
