review 1: Evidence of Murder by Lisa Black is the second novel in a series featuring Forensic Scientist, Theresa MacClean, living and working in Cleveland. Theresa and her group of colleagues from the previous novel "TakeOver" are again present in this novel of murder for profit. I find Theresa's actual job expectations confusing. She tends to investigate with no police back- up, endangering herself and those she is trying to help. Her actual role in each novel is confusing to say the least. This being the second novel in this series one would expect more development of the main characters to hook the reader into becoming more interested in their lives . The resolution of this story is a titch far fetched.......one to many coincidental. A decent quick read that stand on its own wit... morehout committing in the series.
review 2: Fantastic!!!! From the personal issues to the crime scene... outstanding, witty dialogs and thought processes. Lisa has a way with words, the science evidence and personal lives that makes everyone seem real. What I can only image that might happen when the death looks like murder and yet there is no evidence to prove without a shadow of doubt. Frustrating predicament for everyone involved to solve a murder. Lisa capture all the emotions from all angles and made you think real hard...... death, life, grief, less
