review 1: I thought that this book was the best one of the 4 in its series. I think that I could also easily say that it is one of the easiest books to read too. You will love it if you have a good imagination and you really like magic and monsters. What I also really liked about this book is the way that you could really connect with the characters feelings. For example, whenever Alex is talking to his friends, you feel like you are one of them and you feel like he is talking to you. I would recommend this book to anyone who has read any books of this series Unwanteds, and to anyone why has read the Percy Jackson series. This book is good for any age above third grade.

IN a attempt to rescue Sky's mom, they release sea creatures and make new friends. After rescuing Sky's mom the unwanteds end up discovering another island, the island of legends. There they make new friends with Talon, protector of the island, and Lhasa their queen. At the same time High Priest, Aaron finds the hidden jungle with all of Mr. Today's failed creatures. He plans to take over Artime and use the creatures to do so. Aaron thought, "Those creatures were his secret weapons, and he would tell no one about them"(153).I really enjoyed this book as well as it's companion books before it. I love the thrill and adventure found in the book. They do really exciting things, like magic. I would recommend this book to anyone who has read the first three and liked them, also if you love an amazing adventure, that takes you to an indescribable, unbelievably awesome place! less
