Pesonally, I thought this book was gonna be about Stefan's dark days as "The Ripper" when he became friends with Klaus and Rebekah and all that. I was a bit disappointed in that matter, seeing as the ripper from this book is actually another vampire... I would have given it 4 stars if not for that. I absolutely love Violet!!! I think she's my favorite character from this book. She so sweet and innocent and a very good friend and sister. I kinda reminds me of my relationship with my sister. Though I didn't want her to die, I didn't want her to become a vampire either... Too bad she did, though. I really hope nothing extremely bad happens to her because she is a very good person...
Okay so when I first looked at the tittle I thought it was Stefan The Ripper, but no it was actually THE RIPPER as in Jack the Ripper. In this book you walk through London with Stefan as a gruesome killer is on the loose. It was page turning, exhilarating and a little sad because there are are always innocent lives lost but this time of those deaths shows us a little bit of the human part still present in Damon. Since I already have the remaining books in the series I can not wait to start the next one and see how the Salvatore brothers work together his vengeance against Samuel.
Loved It!! Big fan of the entire series!!
