review 1: Well, where to begin??? Maybe with the fact I am being a little generous with 3 stars.. should really be 2 1/2 at most!This convoluted story talks itself in circles without really telling you much and when it does get to a little bit of the meatier action (out of the bedroom) in the story it's very quick and glossed over. I know it's an erotic novel but still, you can have a descent well written story not just sex...the ingredients were there just not utilised very well.Talk about Neanderthal males!!! I love strong alpha men in a story but hell, they don't have to have an attitude prior to the 19th century. Not only did the morality lesson on contraception and abortion getting me fuming but it was incorrect. No excuse in our day and age to sprout this kind of shit but th... moree author could at least do her research and get her facts straight before writing it. Morning after pill is not abortion! Meh, found this flawed, confusing story was just fodder to pad out a book so the author could write erotic scenes. To give the author some credit she sure can write erotica just a shame about the rest of the book.
review 2: I love Lora Leigh's books, especially her Breed Series. I like her over the top multiple pardners' stories and the early Nauti books. This one was okay. There were even some errors that I am not used to finding in a LL book. New proof reader? It set up some interesting new characters and plot lines as the original Nauti Boys grow older. I like Eve and her sisters and her mother. I wanted her to have a little more backbone when it came to Brogan. Considering her background she should have been stronger. Brogan was sexy and hot but way past Alpha in his treatment of Eve. He needed to be taken down a notch by Eve. He should have to help clean the houseboat. The youngest of Eve's sister intrigues me. Her story should be over the top. I consider this a "set up" book for the rest of the series which I will read. Maybe I just expect more from Lora Leigh? less
