review 1: I had a slow start with this book, but eventually it got rolling. It is an interesting take on my favorite sonnet. At least the love interest is based on the sonnet. Some of the ideas are cheesy, such as Shakespeare thinking up the wizard of oz and star wars, but those things made it kind of funny. Overall, I gave the book a good rating because it was a bit different from other stuff that I've read and the way that the author portrayed Shakespeare was entertaining.
review 2: I'm very happy that I didn't pay more than 25 cents for this book. I expected an interesting plot and was disappointed in everything from the writing to the choice of plot direction of this pathetic excuse for a novel. The author seemed disinclined to stick with one writing style, which
... more was particularly annoying, and I can't count how many times forsooth was used just as half-assed attempt at Shakespearean language. Lori Handeland should take a lesson from Christopher Moore's Fool as it is a far better example of a modern writer writing within and Elizabethan frame of language. less

This book was fast paced, humerus, and an excellent ode to Shakespeare. I loved it!

Not what I expected. It is an easy read but it has not soul just a flat book.
