review 1: I've really tried to get away from reading this type of book lately...but there was something about this one that drew me in. Maybe the long catchy title...or quite possibly the price (daily deal on amazon!). Either way I'll admit that I kind of enjoyed this one. It really was laugh out loud funny, predictable at times but funny nonetheless. At one point I found myself asking "does this stuff really happen to people?" Pretty relatable main characters, i was able to find something personable about each one. The writing was pretty decent. Something about being written and edited in British English makes it seem a little more sophisticated, even for a beach read. One day this will make a hilarious rom com.

... moren honest review. My favorite part about this book was that it wasn’t all that predictable, which can sometimes be the biggest downfall in a chick lit book. Did I think I knew who Charley was going to end up with? Yes. But the journey to her finding love was interesting and kept me on my toes. Just when I think the story is going one way, it veers into another. Charley was a terrific lead, one I was able to connect with right off the bat. Sometimes the book seemed a little drug out, but overall it was a super cute chick lit read that I highly enjoyed! less
