review 1: This book seemed a little off at the beginning but that might have just been the killing of Pete in the first damn chapter. Before long though you were back into the action and left sitting on the edge of your seat. It's hard to believe that all of that happened in only 48 hours. I admit I am angry. We didn't get a whole lot of Dr Arnaud and the ending was ridiculous. I want to continue with this series but that ending has just pissed me off so much and seems so unnecessary. I guess time will tell if I pick this series up again but for now I'm saying no.
review 2: Thia one takes place in London, and apparently continues on to the next book in the series. Lorne Simpkins is a female inspector who is attempting to get the Unicorn, a long time foe, to justice. He
... more has killed her partner, and does in a number of other persons in this tale. This despicable person deals with sex crimes--importing very young girls for nefarious purposes, on of which happens to be Lorne's teenage daughter, Charlie. How will she handle this? less

This book was not as good as the first one in the series. It stretched believability.
