review 2: This story is well written, has a good ... morepace, interesting characters and some good doses of drama. It has great dialogue and a delicious interplay between their characters. What I found particularly good in this story is the exploration of class differences between Roselyn and Bradwell, and how difficult is Bradwell to feel comfortable in his new condition, but at the same time how easy it is to accept your Roselyn fall on the scale social. The central part of the plot, is not on the bed but on the difficulties of those who are poor, on fraud, and has some denser parts. But overall the book is enjoyable. I liked the review and find out more about some characters from previous books I have read. But Games of Pleasure also works well as a standalone novel and is a good way to spend an afternoon. less
