review 1: Finally the rat man gets his moment. Throughout the other books in this series you get glimpses of Wilson and his punchy humor so I was looking forward to seeing him fall in love and find his mate. This story was unexpected but still fun if kidnapping, torture and forced impregnation can be made fun....yeah something about that sounds entirely wrong but somehow all that goes together and then to add on top of all that romance abounds during his imprisonment.A wacky crazy ride that kind of made sense and then didn't make sense at all. So there you have it. The story made sense in the end and there was some horrible editing going on but there was a definite story here. Out of all the books in the Immortal Ops bundle this was probably the most complete story and the least con... morevoluted one. So that is the reason why it gets a three. In the end I'm glad that I bought the bundle because none of these are really stand alone books they're more like novellas that give the background of characters so that the real writing can begin. I really hope that Mandy M. Roth can make a complete book with the next in the series which I will be buying shortly.
review 2: Strategic Vulnerability was shorter then the others but it was still good, Wilson is taken by an evil man who wants to experiment on genetics and such, and by strange fate he meets his mate Kimberly after she is taken and brought in. They fight to keep each other safe during captivity. When they get the chance the to escape they take it. After the ordeal they separate to rest and heal. When Wilson is in better health he comes for his mate to finally claim her and their future. It was a little disappointing that it wasn't as long as the other books in the series, but it was still good to read. I am really looking forward to the next two book in the series. less
