These have happened in the world, but aren’t as well known as stories like Amelia Earhart’s. All the stories go back in history from 1925-2009 and are placed all over the world. In the many stories there is, some of the people return while others will disappear forever. You will meet a little girl who is kidnapped in a basement in Pennsylvania. You will also meet a musician named Henry Grimes who took off and didn't want to be apart of the music world he once introduced to everyone. One more person you will come across is Everett Ruess. Everett is one of the most outdoorsy... more people ever, and when he decides to take a trip far away, it doesn't work out as he expected!Review: I think this was a very good book. It was more of an easy read but defiantly worth it. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes mysteries or stories like Amelia Earhart’s. All the stories were very interesting and I couldn't put it down. My favorite story, was the first one in the book. It is about a little girl who gets kidnapped in a basement and has to fight for herself for a few days. The author also defiantly used a lot of figurative language. Overall I would give this book five stars!
review 2: this book was a very good book. I like each and every diffrent story.my facirote one is when the two little girls were walking home from school and these men rolled up in this red car.One of the men asked the girls to come over to the car so they did,the man in the drivers seat tryed to pull both little girls into the car but he only manedged to grab one.as the men sped off the little sister went to thier home and started to cry to the mother.the mother asked what happend and she said my sister got kidnapped.the mother and father started to look for her right away.the called the cops but they said that they cant look for intill she has been missing for 24 hours.so the kidnappers brought her to an abanded house just a couple of streets down from her house.they threw her into a deep,dark and damp celler.she started to scream and some boys heard her and went into the house and saved her. less
