review 1: I read this story when it came out on Ellora's Cave. My computer went and I was devastated. I rebought this story. it is a love story set in futuristic times and OMG, it is HAWT!!! The story draws you in and to some, it can be offputting but to me , it was just up my alley. I loved Kate, Logan and Jesse. There was one point in the story where it had me in tears, but in a good way. All I can say is this is a great book and I love her series...cant wait for her to put another one out.
review 2: Kathy’s Review:Marie Harte’s Voiders series is another sexy-as-all-get-out men-loving-men-and-women indulgence that I am hoping will be going for some time to come. I love the Ravagers, an alien race that, along with a few other new and very interesting species now inh
... moreabit at least one corner of Earth. This and the first book in the series, Namesake deal largely with Ravagers from the Savage pack and more scrumptious bunch of males I’ve yet to find, at least not in Cross Step, Kansas. One of the things that I like a lot about Kate Undone is the dynamics of the relationship between Kate, Logan and Jesse. Either as a melded unit comprised of the three of them together or paired up: Kate and Logan’s dynamics are very different from those of Jesse and Kate’s, or Logan’s and Jesse’s. Their unique characters make this a triad with its own quirks and personality and watching as they discover how their strengths, and perceived weaknesses, combine is a little bit fun and whole lot of fascinating. This is the second series by Marie Harte that has really grabbed my attention and one which I hope to see a lot more of.The way in which the author has brought such an alien conglomeration together in a future not that far off is interesting to say the least. I love the way in she’s created such a completely different future and, for all intents and purposes, new world. The Earth that is populated with Voiders as well as the ‘native’ humans is a very different place than anything I could envision and yet it seems to be so real…okay, ‘real’ is a relative term because we are talking about late in the 21st century. But for all the differences, one thing that has stayed the same is people. There’s something about ‘human’ nature that transcends time, space and alien races. And yes, these races are not, per se, human…but they share a lot of the same idiosyncrasies of the native planetary residents. It’s fresh and interesting and just so darned cool! For someone who wasn’t a huge fan of futuristic tales not that long ago, Marie Harte has definitely converted me. And it really doesn’t hurt that the males are so freakin’ sexy!Rated 4 Delightful Divas by Kathy! less
