review 1: 2.5 starsI came into this series 'blind' - never having read or even heard of the McCauley brothers before. And I'll admit I did feel kinda lost in the story. The names of all these people and who they were to one another flew over my head most of the time and I had a hard time trying to keep it all straight. Seemed to me the author tried to show all that was happening to the previously-'hitched' couples in this one, with Vanessa and Cam's story as the backdrop.I rather liked Cam and Vanessa, though I kept waiting for more conflict to pop up into this story. I was waiting for something to happen, but most of the story seemed to take place around the issue of their internal conflicts, and this was, let us say, different to read about. Ms. Harte does make the characterisatio... moren work for her, but I kept remaining with something missing from this story, and combined with the fact that I was somewhat lost in the who's who, well, this wasn't a read I thoroughly enjoyed.Mind, if you are already into the McCauley series, then this will be like choc-chip cookies to you! But my best recommendation is to start this series from Book1 if you want to give it a go, because coming in blind can leave you feeling lost.
review 2: ~*~My Thoughts~*~A 5 star rating Have I mentioned how much I love Marie because then woman is amazing!!! Another great book in this series. I was wondering how I would like considering Vanessa and Cam were probably my least favorite characters in the other books. But now I love them just as much as Flynn and Brody. Marie writes the McCauley clan amazingly I absolutely adore every character in her books. This book never lags for a second she drags you in and always satisfies. All in this was another great book and I can not wait for for Mike and Del's book. I'm gonna be completely crushed when this series ends.
