review 1: Mark Greaney does a commendable job at keeping Clancy's creation going. I totally bought into the story and characters, and once the action started, it was hard to put down. However, John Clark is now in his 60s, Jack Ryan is in his last two years as President, and I'm not sure Jack junior is ready to shoulder the load. I hope Greaney has plans to advance the writing under his own name and let Clancy rest, though I confess I buy the books hoping to discover Tom Clancy's death has been greatly exaggerated.

Greaney has penned another globe-spanning adventure, and he continues to ably carry the Clancyverse after its c... morereator’s passing. This effort marries multiple plot threads and showcases improved pacing, although the conclusion was tied up a bit too neatly. Events near the end will likely have repercussions in future installments, however. An enjoyable, if not wholly satisfying, diversion. less
