review 1: This second installment lives up to the hype. Like the first one this series is a slow book. Mary Pearson really allows the reader to delve in and enjoy the ride, soak up the details. You get to learn about Venda and the secrets it holds. Learning about Kaden and his background was fun, I truly feel for him. Pearson does and amazing job with side characters as well developing them fully. The cliff hanger will have fans dying for more. Can't wait for the third installment!
review 2: Kiss of Deception was my favorite book from May-Sept 2014 for Teen and book two is just as amazing!! Well written and packed with twists and turns, and the intrigues and games played for survival makes for a fast paced book. When it comes down to it- how far will she go to save th... moree one she loves? And just how far will the men in her life- the one that needs her for his own gain, those that love her- go to keep her? So much more I want to say but I don't want to leave any spoilers!!It's a fantastic read and I can't wait for the next book!!Thank you edelweiss for the ARC!!!!! less
