Jenna Fox Chronicles
review 1: This book shows a fascinating world that has just one flaw of only showing what is happening in the once former United States. It was still fascinating to see this future where the new group of outcasts are the descendants of those who chose not to belong to either side of the now separated usa. I liked seeing Locke's growth and the bible quote at the start of the book really did relate to the story "I am fearfully and wonderfully made" was a theme of Lockes story. I was in tears with ending. With how the robots gaining right the Dot Jefferson bill. But my eyes truly became tearful with Jenna's death. It was sad to see her go but it was beautiful in how she spent her final moments with last old friend who was with her when she was truly 17 not just looking 17 but really ov... moreer centuries old.
review 2: Oddly enough, this was my favorite book in this series. Usually I like the first book and then the subsequent books taper off (except for Harry Potter and Twilight, where I like later books better). But this book didn't focus so much on the science behind Jenna and Loche's genetic make-up so much as a mystery story about finding a missing person. I really enjoyed the setting in Boston (future Boston) and thought the last few chapters really tied the series together well. less

The best of the series. Great new characters and adventure. I enjoyed the ending.

It's always disappointing when the sequels don't live up to the first book.
