review 1: A great follow up to the first volume. This time Meru acts, rather than letting herself be lead she chases out the secrets and finds herself in a new family of sorts trying racing against the Eraser, a mysterious woman trying to put Mind Mgmt back together for unknown reasons. The immortals chase and the Eraser waits, but this time Meru has Lyme and some other former agents on her side. But what secrets do they hold? Meru needs to figure out which side she's on and what does it all mean anyway? This comic book lends itself to a long read, not only looking through each panel, but also scrawled notes on the side, stories in the margins and other bits and pieces. The book starts on the first few pages with a message hidden in those fortunes you get a Chinese restaurants.It'... mores a lot of fun, even if conspiracy theories aren't your thing, this comic is worth reading! I feel deju vu every time I read it! Hopefully that's not because the Erasure is destroying my memori
review 2: Another fantastic entry in the "Mind Mgmt" series. Matt Kindt really marches to the beat of his own drummer here as he deepens the story and the mythology. This is the most complicated graphic novel series I've ever read and Kindt never holds your hand. He expects you to keep up and the result is fascinating storytelling.I can't remember if I made this comparison before but it reminds me in many ways of "House of Leaves." (I.E. Strange writings in the margins, additional stories being told under the surface of the "real" story, and fake footnotes.)Kindt gets bonus points for level of difficultly here but, once again, loses one star because the visuals are ugly and hard to look at. I know it matches the narrative well but all his work looks like this so I just think it is how he draws. Don't let that deter you. If you want a complex story told well, this series is a must read. less

I love this book! It's almost like Unknown Armies with superpowers instead of magic.
