review 1: The book Icefall is a great action packed book. Its about 3 boys and their grandpa living in the ice mountains. Everything is going great until the ice starts to melt. They must find every ice tunnel and secure the ice cores in order to save them and their home town. To find the tunnels they have to go through many puzzles,mazes, and riddles that are nearly impossible. If that's not hard enough to top it all off if the ice melt the town will go with it and everyone in the mountains will drowned. The ending of the book was pretty bad, but i'm going to let you find out for yourself. Go check out Icefall by: Matthew J. Kirby. review 2: It's an exciting adventure, it's a mystery, it's a beautifully written book. Most of all, it's a portrayal of a young woman Solveig, who has grown up overshadowed by her older sister and by her younger brother, but she is the one who shows courage, loyalty, and kindness. In the course of the book, her desire to become a skald (storyteller) is strengthened. Judging from how she narrates this book, she is a most skillful skald. less
