review 1: This is the debut novel by Moore...and I found it very interesting, but also a little confusing in being able to keep up with the comings and goings of everyone in the family, the coming apart of their individual lives, and the inability of them to really talk to each other about what was happening in their lives.Ginny and William Owen, emptynesters, suddenly find themselves with a house full...their children, plus their grandchildren who are all dealing with problems in their own little families. review 2: Ginny and William experience the arrival 'home' of each of their adult children one summer...Each with their own set of issues. Ginny vacillates between embracing her chi
... moreldren and grandchildren to feeling overwhelmed by the disorder to the unexpected quietness to the ache when they finally leave. This book stirred feelings only a mother, adult child, or daughter could feel. I enjoyed the story and the range of emotion. less
