review 1: Appétissante entrée en matière, avec un début d'enquête, de multiples pistes envisagées et un suspense qui tient la route. Puis le récit devient plus opaque et fait découvrir à la (jeune) narratrice que son petit monde n'est pas celui qu'elle s'imaginait. C'est assez inégal mais ça reste très intéressant à lire, surtout pour l'atmosphère vaporeuse et les réflexions pertinentes de l'héroïne.
review 2: I am so disappointed in this read and feel like my day was wasted. Hated that there was no punctuation when a character spoke. Hated that the main character was 12? She seemed more mature than 12. And had special powers that turned out to be what? Intuition? Being able to read a scene, situation, or body language? I'm not sure. Intrigued at first ... moreby the mystery of the missing friend but the ending was so anticlimactic. Hated the sometimes use of British words. Not much to like. less
