review 1: If you have read Steel Lily, the first in the series by author Megan Curd, you are most definitely going to want to read Iron Pendulum this summer. I was fortunate enough to be offered a complimentary copy in exchange for review, as I have enjoyed this amazing series. It's a great mind bender, and a step into fantasy I usually don't enter, as I read other genres. I found Iron Pendulum to be deliciously haunting, with a nice written execution and tale time. I was enveloped in another reading world, and did not want to resurrect myself from the pages, even after completion. Holy smokes, this novel blew me away with eloquence and secrets unveiling, its very hard for me to gather my thoughts for a review without spoilage. And I do dislike spoilers! So rest assured, lovers of M... moreegan Curd, you will be SQUEEEING in anticipation over book two. 5 Heart quivering Stars for excellent series, most definitely not a standalone, so I must insist go grab your copy of book 1!
review 2: Iron Pendulum is just as good as the first book in this series. Megan Curd did an amazing job once again writing this book. Starting off right where Steel Lily left off with all the same great characters with lots of twists, turns, action and suspense this book does not disappoint. Iron Pendulum is a definite must read for anyone that has already started this series or if they are looking to start reading a great steampunk dystopian series. less
