review 1: A sweet story with the right amount of heat. Two lovable MCs and a friends to lovers trope. It's one of my favorites!I had to give a rating of 3.5 stars because one aspect of the writing was not clear enough for my understanding. The problem with the writing is that I did not always know who the author was talking about. I understand the use of pronouns in place of names to avoid repetition. But when the pronouns "he" or "him" were used, I didn't always understand to whom the author was referring and grammatical misuse of these pronouns.
review 2: This is a wonderful story about young love and how it starts in so many of us when we are quite young. We often have no explanations for how we feel the way we do about another persons - be it male or female, we just k
... morenow we have those feelings and they make us do anything to be with that other person, protect that other person, and endure almost anything to get back to them. Also a great story about how this nation, the world, professional sports, and everyone needs to learn that ALL that matters is not WHOM we love, but THAT we love.I have to say that for a mother of several children to have written this great book with fabulous sex scenes still blows my mind. Of course, I guess that is being a bit naive on my part to think that ONLY one gender could think up and fantasize those things. Shame on me! I loved all of those scenes ... I even shed a few tears at the tender way it made me feel. less
