review 1: I might be inclined to give this book three stars if I was just reading the book without knowing the backstory. But the fact that this is the manuscript submitted to a fiction writing contest in which the authors write a novel in a three day weekend, well, that counts for an extra star! The book is a satire on the zombie apocalypse genre. ... moreou're not familiar with Hugh and his books, some of the humor will escape you. If you're a fan, you'll love it. If you're not a fan, well, go check out Hugh's books first, particularly the WOOL Omnibus. It was ok. Great if you take in to account it was written in merely 30 hours.
